Reviews for Ribshack at Robinsons Dumaguete
Review highlights
Based on 59 reviewsRibshack at Robinsons Dumaguete is widely recognized for offering good value meat dishes with generous portions, making it a popular choice among budget-conscious diners. The restaurant’s highlight is its backribs meal, often praised for its satisfying taste and affordability, especially with the unlimited rice option available. While most customers appreciate the overall quality and flavorful offerings, occasional inconsistencies have been noted, such as reheated food or variations in the size of certain items like bangus. Service is generally regarded as attentive and friendly, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere, though the space can feel crowded during peak hours. Despite some minor drawbacks, Ribshack maintains a solid reputation for delivering tasty meat dishes in a casual setting, making it a go-to spot for locals and visitors seeking hearty meals at reasonable prices.
Good value for money, tasty meat, I’ll definitely return in the future.
Foods are really good. My go to whenever I visit robinson. Although there’s this one time nga they served bahaw and bugnaw yet napagong na nga sud-an, was disappointed kay they it seemed like they reheated it multiple times already. Would still go back and recommend since it was only 1 time incident
Food is okay, they have an unli rice option if you're really hungry. We ordered their pork spare ribs which was sulit for its price. We also tried their korean grilled pork which tasted weird, shouldve ordered their regular spare ribs instead. Service was good. The atmosphere was nice although a bit crowded.
I got 1 backribs meal (unli rice) for PHP255.00, two sticks of pork BBQ for PHP58.00, two sticks of beef kebab for PHP120.00, and 1 can of Mountain Dew. If you want a meaty option for your meals and you're on a budget, this place might be good for you. I had to pick unli rice so I could get another rice for the 2 other meat options I ordered. The backribs meal that isn't unli rice is just PHP245.00. The vibe is similar to another well-known food chain that offers unli rice.
Would be better if they consistently had larger bangnus, half the time they only have small. But still very good value.
The Ribshack is one of my go to places in Dumaguete. They have decent food at really good prices. Depending on the time of go there depends on your wait. One thing about it is the food is always fresh. The staff is always extremely friendly. The reason I gave it 3 stars under food is because they will also serve fat. I don’t about everyone else but fat is not healthy. I would prefer less food but a higher quality food. I still recommend this place. For the price you can’t it.
Value for money, even without the "unlimited rice" feature. Tasty food. Meat portions are small for some people, but prices are relatively low, with unlimited rice. So overall, good spot for budget conscious customers.
Food is surprisingly good. They’re really full during lunch and dinner. Service is okay as well. My problem was just the music. They tend to play it too loud. It’s not a bar so easy on the music.
